Please CALL or E-MAIL and

if ANY of these apply:

Any SYMPTOMS of cold or flu
(fever/chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, muscle aches, runny nose)

TRAVEL outside Canada in the past 14 days

EXPOSURE to a known or suspected case of COVID-19

For the safety of other patients and staff, PLEASE BE HONEST IN REPORTING.  You will still receive care, but we will ensure that it is delivered to you in the safest way possible.

If care is non-urgent, it will be postponed until the risk is lower.  If it is urgent, we have created special time slots to see people who might pose a higher risk to others.  Women who need more acute care will be directed to the hospital, after pre-notification.

Our Medical Office Assistants (MOAs) may be working from home on non-clinic days.  On those days, you will need to e-mail or leave a voicemail message, and they will get back to you.

Appointments will be changed to TELEPHONE visits, where possible.  Videoconferencing is not yet being used.

Fees for late-notice cancellations and no-shows for in-person appointments are waived until further notice, but please do try to notify us if you are unable to come in.

Our doctors will be on the front lines of the epidemic at the local hospitals, and they may be called upon to increase their hospital duties.  As such, clinic appointments may need to be cancelled or re-scheduled on short notice.

Hospital procedures for surgical bookings and patient care are continuously evolving.

We appreciate you patience while we are trying to adapt our processes to the ever-evolving situation.
