Helping Others

ATTENTION ALL FASHIONISTAS!

Please read on if:

you know what a fabulous outfit can do for you self-esteem…

you have invested in an awesome maternity wardrobe…

you have had your beautiful baby and are now sad that all of these great clothes
are no longer going to see any use…

and

you are interested in helping someone who is struggling to make a fresh start!

Cross Roads OB/GYN is currently collecting quality maternity clothing in good condition for donation to Sheway.  Sheway is a Coast Salish word meaning "growth".  It is a Pregnancy Outreach Program (P.O.P.) located in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver.  The program provides health and social service supports to pregnant women and women with infants under 18 months who are dealing with alcohol and drug issues.  The focus of the program is to help women have healthy pregnancies and positive early parenting experiences.

If you would like to make a clothing donation, please bring your clean clothing on wire hangers to our office at Cross Roads Obstetrics and Gynaecology.  We encourage you to include a short note of encouragement and perhaps a picture of your baby.

Generosity is the key.
